Development Funding for feature film Pricker

Beyond excited to announce that my first feature film Pricker has been selected as one of the five nominees to receive early development funding from Short Circuit’s First Features. First Features is for writing, writing/directing and producing talent from all across Scotland who have bold and captivating fiction projects that possess a strong theatrical ambition and have the potential to resonate with audiences worldwide. From an initial 104 submissions, five films were selected: Enough of Him, Five Thieves, Flavio, Fur Sadie and Pricker. Pricker is a Queer Feminist Thriller inspired by the real life woman, Christian Caldwell, who dressed as a man in 1600s Scotland in order to become a witch Pricker. Written and directed by me and produced by John McKay and Laura McBride.
